JANUARY 5 | THE SUMMER COLLECTION

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT BY MARK WIDDUP

Cooks Hill Galleries is delighted to bring you ‘The Summer Collection’. This is an online only exhibition and our first for 2018. Available to browse and shop on our website midday Friday 5 January 2018.

It’s about a 'catch up' for our clients and followers; a curated collection of art that’s representative of the galleries artists. Many of our followers are time poor and this is a time of year when they have the time to reflect on the past year and catch up on their art interests!

This online only exhibition has an emphasis on a diversity of art styles and subjects as well as an introduction to some of the artist we will exhibit in 2018 - to whet the appetite! Overall, it is a showcase of all styles, mediums, subject matter, and price range, that make up the diversity of what CHG has to offer. It’s also a soft opening for the new year.

The Cooks Hill Galleries officially recommences February 2, 2018. During our recess explore our Facebook and Instagram properties and the galleries website, where you’ll find some 2,000 artworks on display and available for purchase during this time. We look forward to welcoming you in the new year, our 2018 exhibition program will be available for viewing on our website shortly.

I am excited about 2018 with much of the planning and initiatives designed and implemented from last year now installed. It will culminate in CHG forging ahead into the changing art landscape that is upon us! In the meantime, enjoy ‘The Summer Collection’.

Yours in art,
Mark Widdup
CHG Director
