Artist CV: David Perks

Born in Sydney, David Perks studied commercial art in the United Kingdom and Europe in 1971, returning to Australia in 1972 when he became a full time painter. He has exhibited his realist paintings throughout New South Wales and won regional art awards. He painted extensively shipping, inspired from the waterways of Newcastle harbour with it’s maritime activity.
