CHG Director's Statement: Paul Jones was born in NSW in 1921. He served with the AIF in New Guinea during World War II. He was well known for his landscapes and figurative paintings of New Guinea. Particularly those featuring floral studies. These have gained him a world wide acclaim.
Paul has illustrated flower books and his floral prints are popular.
Paul's works are represented in many state and provincial collections. Paul passed away in 1997.
