Artist Statement: These luscious works confer a kind of rococo coquettishness on their subjects. With a method of paint application that is playful, louche and uncompromising. The work takes us on a journey from Arcimboldo's juicy fruit and veg ensembles to Auerbach's frenzied brushwork, albeit with a gentler feel.
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Dimensions: 91 x 91 x 3.5 cms
