Artist Statement: "A flight of fantasy depicting  girls with frangipanis and sumptuously coloured garments, but, in this work, they’ve had a momentary glance at someone passing by and are  banding together in their disapproval as
only three females can do…As  I’ve said many times at  my exhibition openings, I do get these ideas from my own girls.." - John Maitland.
