Artist Statement: In 1963 Elizabeth Taylor was depicted in a sultry pose as Cleopatra to advertise the eponymous film. If a cat can look sultry, this one is doing its best to emulate her. Incidentally, toy mice were actually a thing in Ancient Egypt - Catherine Banney
