Nat’s mother introduced him to art at a young age, she being a graphic artist. As he said he would paint alongside his Mum some afternoons which obviously gave him the beginnings of his art education!
He grew up in Ballarat Victoria and completed tertiary education in Psychology at Latrobe University and gained a masters degree. This most recent series titled ‘Steel City’ revolves around where he has walked and observed Newcastle. This is the first body of art he has produced and it is quite obvious he has developed a style and proficiency already. Nat is leaving for the UK in two months where he will study art and work in psychology in north England.
However that is not the end of Nat he will continue to send us art from overseas around compositions of his visions of Newcastle.
