Je Peonies (Pledge)

John Earle

Artist Statement: As the title describes painted in digitised style. The most prominent building in the foreground which is catching the afternoon sun is the Museum of Contemporary Art and I like the triangulation of that building set against the Harbour Bridge & the Opera House. Again, this large painting looks quite abstract up close, but seen from a distance, or condensed in a mobile phone image, it looks surprisingly realistic. - John Earle.
