Director's Statement: Rayner Hoff was a sculptor who worked in Australia. He fought in World War I and is best known for his war memorial work, particularly the sculptures on the ANZAC War Memorial, Sydney. In the 1920's and 1930's, Rayner Hoff was the most talented and controversial sculptor in Australia.
